This a comment for this page on the website
The Sony Alpha 7R seem fantastic, but image quality is not the same thing as sensor performance, The flange distance is very short and we can not be sure of that the images will be sharp in the corners or even on the sides. lJust look at Sony NEX!

This issue is only with RF lenses and specific ones at that: third party RF symmetrical ultra wides. In addition it was mainly noted on the nex 7 not other models. To imply it's a critical issue - or greater than that of any FF sensor is misleading .

However this sensor has micro lenses angled at the edges to minimize this effect.  Perhaps indicating new sony UWAs in the future.
