Author Topic: Does the 60D Really Have Better Color Depth Than 7D?  (Read 1587 times)

It's listed as having .2 superior color depth. I'm willing to sacrifice all other image quality benefits of the 7D for that slight color depth gain if that's true. Is it true, or can slight differences in color depth be attributed to imperfections in the testing methods or slight variances in different copies of the same camera?

Even the 40D has better color depth. Actually, the color depth on the 40D looks significantly better when using the screen measurement instead of the print measurement.

I can suggest, don't take these measurements that religiously or literally.

In real world scenerios you won't notice any difference whatsoever!
