I have an important general question about DXO testing methodology. I apologise if this is answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find the answer from a quick look at your site.

I take jpgs. Current Canon and Nikon cameras allow in-camera adjustment of their own lenses for vignetting/distortion/aberration etc.

These adjustments are not available in camera to third party lenses from Sigma etc.

Are the DXO scores then a good quantative comparison for jpg shooters, allowing for the in-camera advantage of own-brand lenses, or are they purely applicable to RAW images adjusted via lens profiles in say Lightroom?
